Terms
Draft, October 2026. Under legal review before public launch.
Who can use Hivecoding
- Accounts are for people 18 and older. Playing games needs no account.
- You're responsible for what you ask agents to build and for keeping your account secure.
Games and contributions
- Creators own the games they make. A creator can switch off, revert or export any feature in their game.
- When you request a feature in someone else's game, you license the request and the feature built from it to that game's creator, including for exports. Your name stays on the feature while it's live.
- Exported games include a license to the Hivecoding engine code inside them.
What can't be built
- Hate, sexual content, harassment, real people's likenesses, copyrighted characters and brands, and anything aimed at harming other players or their items.
- Every request is checked before it's quoted, and everything players will see or hear is checked again before it ships. We can refuse any request and switch off any feature or game.
Plans and credits
- Plans renew monthly until you cancel. Monthly credits expire at renewal; earned credits expire after 90 days.
- Credits have no cash value and can't be sold or transferred, except when a creator tips a contributor.
- Every job is quoted before it runs. Credits are held during the build and spent only when it ships. Failed, refused and rejected jobs cost nothing.
Changes
- These terms will change as Hivecoding grows. We'll tell you about material changes before they apply.
